Does anyone have guidance regarding how to set up Hubspot well from a UI perspective for Enterprise Sales cycles where you have a lot of multi-line fields?
We have implemented MEDDIC and I find Deal reviews require me to export the data vs. being able to view in an easy report or within the Deal UI.
I have been tinkering with creating new Association cards, but multi-line only really works up to a certain character length and I need to make them their own card.
The left-hand side bar is the best place for multi-line, but it not optimal for viewing since it's so thin...and you are always clicking "see more"
I recently developed an implementation to use Meddicc within HubSpot. Tired of manually filling out Meddicc forms in Excel and uploading them to HubSpot, I decided to leverage my coding skills to create a more streamlined solution.
Dealing with multi-line fields in HubSpot for Enterprise Sales cycles, especially with something as detailed as MEDDIC, can be a bit of a puzzle. I totally get the struggle with Deal reviews and the need for a more user-friendly interface.
One approach you might consider is utilizing custom modules within the HubSpot CRM. Instead of Association cards, try creating custom modules tailored to your specific needs. These can provide a cleaner and more expansive space for your multi-line fields, allowing you to organize and view data more effectively.
Additionally, if the left-hand sidebar is your preferred location but feels a bit cramped, you might want to explore customization options. You can adjust the width of the left sidebar to make it more accommodating for your needs. This can be done by heading to "Settings" > "Sales" > "Deals" > "Enable custom sidebar width."
Another handy tip is to leverage HubSpot's reporting capabilities. While the left sidebar might not be optimal for detailed views, reports can give you a comprehensive overview. You can create custom reports with the specific fields you need, making it easier to analyze and review the data without exporting.
I hope these suggestions help streamline your MEDDIC implementation within HubSpot. If you have any further questions or need more assistance, feel free to ask. 😊

Could you please tell us a bit more about this setting? I was not able to find it in my account. If you could share a screenshot too that would be very helpful!
I am also not seeing this option for adjusting the sidebar width.
I am going to take a look at some of the custom modules and was considering trying "Playbooks" as well. Trying to ensure that the rep experience won't be clunky.
If anyone is a pro with the custom modules, happy to use a contractor - specifically if they've done MEDDIC prior. Love the ideas!
Thank you for reaching out to the Community, this is a very interesting topic.
I found this Community article that my colleague wrote on implementing MEDDIC in HubSpot, but it might not be entirely relevant because he created MEDDIC properties with a different goal – to determine pipeline health. It is still an interesting read though because you're working with the MEDDIC process.
I wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this thread to see if they have any advice:
Hi @GrantCarlile, @jolle, @Alex_Elborn, do you have any tips for @SLapitka on how to configure the CRM so the MEDDIC information is easily accessible? Thank you!
