Lead rotation: What triggers it for your business?

Two questions for you:

  1. What triggers a lead to be rotated to one of your team members? A live chat? A form submission? The completion of a certain set of properties? Something else?
  2. Which factors determine the salesperson to whom your leads get routed?

Lead rotation: What triggers it for your business?

  1. Lead Rotation Example - Live chat, support ticket, financial giving, custom properties, engagement with one or more areas of business ex. Service Member, Donor, etc.
  2. Routed Example - Sales is selective based on capacity and whether a csr can help upgrade with given interest.

Lead rotation: What triggers it for your business?

  1. Lifecycle Stage is the primary trigger that we use and that is typically updated by form submissions or marketing email activity.
  2. The prospect's region or preferred location used to route all leads. However, we have a consolidated home office sales team now and all leads go through them. They then assign a secondary owner based on the conversations they have with the prospect.
