Import not recognising Deal ID even though it's definitely in the csv file 😿

Hi wondferful community,

I'm trying to update a deal field, but am having issues. The cvs file I have only has 2 records (as I'm testing before doing the real import!)

The data is a direct export from hubspot. I've not tinkered with any column geadings, and yet when I go to import, HS thinks there are no columns called Deal ID.

Any ideas are much apprecitated!

Hello @RMorgan,

Can you please check if your file is UTF-8 encoded?

As you said this file is directly exported and all the columns seem to be correct, the only factor can be the file format.

This link might help you to verify the file requirements - https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/set-up-your-import-file

Regards,

Hi @RMorgan , i think you need to format column A "Deal ID" to text / numbers. Or are their any "spaces" in the column name field? What does the green suggestion show (see attached)?
