Google Sheet API Failing to Import 2% of Contacts From Active List

Hello,

 

We recently created a Contact-Based Workflow where users from an  Active List are enrolled into a Google Sheet via the API integration. 

 

The import just completed but we are seeing about 400+ contacts that failed to import with the error being  "The connected app returned an error". Snapshot below.

 

Whats even stranger is that when I manually enroll these contacts they push over to the sheet immediately without issue.

 

We cannot seem to understand what is causing the API to break as everything checks out on our end.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Google Sheet API Failing to Import 2% of Contacts From Active List

This is purely an assumption, but you may have hit a page or row "lock" on the google side. I'd suggest setting a delay on the workflow to see if it was a lock or a rate limit that you encountered. Since the sheet ID isn't changing, "Not Found" is obviously not an accurate description. When you say "API integration" are you referring to the Google Sheets app within the hubspot marketplace?
