Fetch forecasted deals

SOLVE

I am wondering where i can find the deals that were forecasted when the forecast has been submitted.. it's very painful not finding which deal has been pushed forward in time..

I create a simple example below:

1st of January i do my forecast for New Business deals closing this month.

Deal A : close date 15/01 - 1000€ amount

Deal B: close date 15/01 - 1000€ amount

I forecast and save 2000€ for those 2 deals as i'm confident.

25 of january, i come back to check how my month is going compared to my forecast submission.

Deal A: close date moved to 15/02

Deal B: close date moved to 15/02

There is no more deal in my view when i come back the 25th of january and i can't recall or find what where the deals making the 2000€ forecast the 1st of January.

Any advice here on how to fetch deals that were forecasted at a certain time ?

@BérangèreL Thanks for the tag

@FChabert Natively this is the best you can you do in my knowledge

Reports ➝ Sales ➝ Deals Push Rate Report

For more robust functionality you might wanna build some custom properties with Dates like

  • Expected Closed Date
  • Actual Close Date
  • Expected Close Amount

etc and them use them fit your use-case

Hello, forecasting PM here! We recently released the ability to capture what deals were selected when making a forecast submission. You can include deals by navigating to forecasting and clicking on your name or a rep's name and selecting the checkboxes to the left of the deals you'd like to include. Once you submit, included deals will be viewable in the submit tab under History by clicking "View Included Deals." Hope this helps!

Hi Bérangère @BérangèreL,

This is a gap in the forecast app's functionality. It is important to be able to see how a sales person has arrived at their forecast by associating the revenue with the individual deals.

I am commenting here to add another voice to this as a service request for the product team.

Thanks, Neil
