Experiencing an Issue with the QuickBooks Integration
Is anyone experiencing errors or other issues in using the enhanced features in the new QuickBooks app intergration in HubSpot? We get an error when we enable the features to use workflows and basically all the functionality that is cruicial (not sure why they have them as enhanced features!) to business functions between the two systems. HubSpot acknowledges the error and cannot give us a timeline for fixing the issue. Appreciate any guidance from other HubSpot users on experiencing this or workarounds??
We do have HubSpot app connected in QuickBooks - should we delete that and only have the HubSpot QuickBooks app integration installed?

We are trying to set up the workflow so that we can have our invoices created in QB, but when I try to do the workflow, I have to enable the extra features - when we follow the link to do so, we get the dead URL. I have a ticket in with HS to find out what we can do, but if anyone here has a great workaround I'd love to hear it. -

I have this same problem. I reached out to support and they said that it is because I manually uninstalled the old QuickBooks integration and installed the new QuickBooks integration. However, I don't really buy that explanation. For me, I try to click this "enable" button:
Then, a new browser window opens with QuickBooks log-in prompt. After logging in, I immediately get a blank white browser page with this error:

This is a huge blocker for us. As of now, we have resorted to paying LOTS of money to Zapier and we created a custom Zapier workflow that creates estimates in QuickBooks based on the Deal information, but that is exactly what the product-integration offers! We need to see a fix to this before we upgrade our subscription for sure.

Hi @LChristian - you're not alone! I have a couple of tickets raised with the Hubspot support team, they have been helpful and informative thus far, but I fear we're starting to uncover some gnarly and undocumented limitations, like the fact that QuickBooks can't handle discounted line items. Where we've gotten to is an issue about some fields that QuickBooks insists on, but that don't seem to be in the Hubspot data model (or at least, I have not found out yet where to populate). I confess that I am struggling to see how the Hubspot/Quickbooks integration can be made to work in any meaningful (i.e. real world!) way to automate the process from quoting and ordering through to financial control. But I am going to keep trying to find out what the limitations are so we can figure out a workaround. I'll post up findings here when I have them. But documentation on how the integration actually behaves is very hard to find. The Hubspot support team have been great to date on helping us diagnose, but we're not there yet.
