From my experience as ops, I come here to share insights and ideas. In companies with different OPS classifications, it is interesting to know a little about the area that precedes yours.
Deep Diving
The lead path is extremely important for sales ops. All your steps and goals, your performance, and your data will be pulled from these leads. And naturally, we have the old Marketing x Sales fight, and with that comes the insight.
Discussion
What is the possible impact of sales ops to understand marketing and post-sales ops to understand sales?
Author's response
As sales ops I believe that knowledge changes and teaches. It changes the approach from the same "these leads are bad" to a place for open conversation about why the adoption of that strategy. It teaches because the work in the process of obtaining these leads is known, so the approach becomes more humane. When the professional is willing to understand.
