Creating Revenue Reports Between Pipelines include shared deal owners
SOLVE
Hello Everyone,
I have a few questions as I am newer to the revenue reporting side of things and have a somewhat tricky setup currently.
We are currently setup to have a few pipelines:
1) New Business
2) Expansion/Renewal Business
New business deals are entirely owned by one team, however, the expansion/renewal business sometimes has deals where they are either
a) Expansion Deals Only split between 2 team members
b) Expansion and renewal deals where the expansion amount is split between 2 team members in SOME CASES.
I have created custom fields to split out all these amounts:
-New amount (new business only)
-Expansion Amount (Could be shared if another property is present)
-Renewal Amount (renewal business only)
Any ideas on how to set sales goals around the expansion amount piece that is shared? Is there a way to combine that amount into just an overall revenue goal or does it have to be separated?
Additionally, any ideas on showing all of these amounts together in some kind of stacked bar chart?
The way this works, once activated of course, is to add people involved in a deal and then define percentages based on the total transaction.
This helps when both have sales revenue targets and want their share counted.
Once done, you'll see the results in the forecast tool and can use this info in custom reports.
So, give it a go and let me know how it works out for you.
