Company workflow based on a date property every year
SOLVEWe are building a workflow that needs to run every year on the same date [Day and Month]. We are asking our success team to reach out to clients that have subscribed a specific membership and we are using the close date on the company record.
Can we use the trigger "On a Schedule" and use it Annually 120 days before the 'Close Date'? Or will that not work if the close date is in the past?
The test function really only shows if the company meets certain triggers and does not reflect the date type. I tried using a test company's details to run a live test but didn't get a notification.

That should work 🙂
One way to test this (which I'd recommend) is creating a company record that should enroll tomorrow. You can also limit enrollment to this test record by adding a filter to the enrollment criteria for that exact record ID or company name / domain name. You would simply have to make sure that this record has the correct date value populated.
