# Zoom integration prerequisites

Hey,  
Zoom has this [long list of demands](https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/215930143-Setting-Up-Hubspot-Integration) in order to use their Hubspot integration, including a Zoom Webinar plan. Does anyone know if this is actually needed? We just want to create the sales meeting links so I don’t see why it should be needed.

Hi @enorberg,

This requirements list is for Zoom webinars. You can include Zoom in HubSpot meeting links on a free Zoom plan.

Here’s the HubSpot knowledge base article for setting this up: [Connect HubSpot and Zoom](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/use-hubspots-integration-with-zoom#add-a-zoom-link-to-your-meetings-links) It’s not overly complicated but there are a few common mistakes which can be easily avoided by having a quick look.

We continue to receive an IT Authentication error when trying to integrate our Zoom account. It appears we are required to have the " **Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join meetings and webinars"** setting in our Zoom account turned on to complete the integration. Is this accurate?
