One thing that genuinely surprised me this year was realizing how much distribution matters more than just having a great product.

Earlier, I used to think that if we built something valuable and useful, people would naturally find it and start using it. But over time I learned that visibility, positioning, and consistent content/traffic channels matter just as much as the product itself.

This changed how I operate. Now I spend a significant amount of time focusing on:

  • building traffic channels,
  • forming partnerships,
  • creating useful content, and
  • engaging with communities where our audience already exists.

The biggest lesson for me was: a great product without distribution struggles, but even a simple product with strong distribution can grow quickly.

So now, instead of only asking “How can we build this better?” I also constantly ask “How will people discover this?”
