# Workflows with new optional objects in the object library

I have deployed one of the new optional objects - Services - and when I went to build a workflow, I was surprised to see that the new objects are not available in workflows. When will this be fixed? This is a crucial function for us!

Hi @jj12stars

What exactly do you mean when you say you “deployed one of the new optional objects - Services”?

Are you referring to the creation of a custom object or something else?

Custom objects can be used in workflows, they are usually listed at the bottom of the options for workflow type, see screenshot:

Thanks @franksteiner79 , but I’m talking about this - the new offerings in the Object Library. I activated the Services object, and it is not an option in workflows, either for triggering new workflows from that object, or, what I need to do, create a new Services record from a deal workflow.

I’m experiencing the same problem. Not able to add records using workflows. You cannot select the object: “listings” for example.

Seems like this should have still been in beta.
