Hi,
I am trying to create a workflow that will do various things (create tasks & send email/text) based on the call outcom.
However I notice when I am creating the IF branch, the check is happening if "at least one associated activity has ‘Call Outcome is No Answer’ "
This is causing an issue though because I want it to look at the most recent call outcome (see image of workflow)
Is there a work around?

Hello @JReginato

If the hubspot integration with the dialer is properly done and the tags/records are properly imported from the dialer into your hubspot, the only issue I can think of right now might be from your trigger for the workflow.

Can you share with me the trigger you’ve set to enrol contacts into this workflow?

Please tag me when you respond so I can receive a notification.

Looking forward to your response.

@BukunmiOdetayo Thanks for getting back to me! I need to get back to my computer to give
you some screen shots.
Off the top of my head I am enrolling contacts based being on a specific
list & when someone completes a task that we set on each contact on the
list (using the task title as part of the filter to make sure it’s the
right task)
However my issue is when I get into the branch. For example one branch is
if the outcome of the call is ‘no answer’. As I was trying to explain the
filter on the branch will looks at all activities, so say there was two no
answer calls, one busy, it seems to just pick the original activity and put
them into that branch.
No idea if this makes sense but I will add screens shots to the thread to
try to explain more.
Really appreciate the help. This is to assist our inside sales in making
calls easily.

I feel like the tags from the dialer are limited (ring central)

I got that @JReginato

I will wait for you to get to your computer and provide the screenshots.

Or if we can quickly jump on a call at a suitable time so you can show me your screen, and from there, we see what we can do to address the issue.

@BukunmiOdetayo Would be super helpful if we could do a screen share so you can see what I am talking about. Not sure what your time schedule looks like.

Thanks for the help! I could not believe that it was a matter of having multiple outcome selections in a single branch.

Hi @JReginato,

As far as I know, specific activites can only be referenced in two ways in workflows, both of which I’ll explain shortly.

The first one would be creating a task and then using a “Delay until event happens” action to check the output from this earlier task creation:

 ![karstenkoehler_0-1658553535449.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/6/6/66a8e594cfd620b7ef0ccac972ef28aaf7b774dc.png)

This however does not quite seem to apply to your situation.

The second option would be referencing specific activity properties that can only apply to one call. For example, you could create a specific [call type](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/meetings-tool/how-do-i-create-and-use-call-and-meeting-types) that is only used for this one particular call that you want to check in this workflow. _(Call type_ is any of … and _Call outcome_ is No answer).

If you’re using Aircall, then there are more options, as the last used Aircall tags are stored in a property which makes referencing the last activity quite easy.

Outside of that, HubSpot does not offer any native options for making sure you’re referencing the last activity.

Hope this helps!

Hi Karsten,
Thanks so much for this insight. Unfortuantely we are using RIngCentral, which does not seem to allow me to create any ‘call type’ that I could reference.

Hi @JReginato,

The approach here would be to find anything that’s unique to a call, it doesn’t have to be a call type, it could also be a specific call outcome. If there isn’t anything unique, it will likely require custom development or a different approach to what you’re planning.

Best regards!
