Hi Folks,

Is it possible to use a variable in a workflow enrollment criteria’s “is equal to” field?
I’m trying to create a workflow that checks for contacts who have the same value in mobile number and regular number, and deletes the duplicate from the regular number field.

Hi @nychd,

Out of the box it is not, no. You would either have to leverage third-party data quality automation like [Insycle](https://www.insycle.com/hubspot/) (which integrates nicely with HubSpot) or get coding. This would require an Operations Hub Professional subscription with [custom code actions](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/workflows/custom-code-actions).

Best regards!

@nychd Do you have Operations Hub? If so, then you can set the trigger as a mobile phone number is known and put it to a re-enrollment. Then you will need a custom code action (hence why you need operations hub) that will look for a duplicate number. If it exists then you can have the custom code delete the new contact or send you a notification. We’ve built similar custom code actions.

I don’t, but good to know that would work if we ever invest in it!
In the end, I created the list of duplicates in google sheets and then used a workflow to delete the property.

Sounds good. Glad you found a work around.
