Workflow trigger that sets a task or sends a message to another team member?

Hi!

I am looking to create a workflow that is triggered by a team member setting a task.

For example, here is what I am trying to accomplish:

1. A team member creates some sort of task (message or email) that can be assigned or sent to another team member.

Note: *These tasks need to have a unique message in them each time they are sent to our other team members.

2. The act of sending this task out will then activate the work flow.

Is it possible to do anything like this?

Hey @KKovar as shocking as it is, you actually can’t use tasks to trigger or filter workflows at all. The only option for tasks in workflows is to automatically create a task from within a workflow.
