Hi, my team is trying to get away from using Zapier as it hasn’t been completely reliable. Is there a workflow option within Hubspot where a calendar invite can be sent to a new member in a list?
I currently see that I can add the link to a calendar invite within an email, but in the case that the person does not manually add the calendar invite themselves, then it won’t ever block the calendar time for them.

Unfortunately it is not possible in HS to send a calendar invite through workflow. You can sent it only within an email. The person have to manually add the calendar invite manually.

HubSpot marketing emails would have to support attachments for that which (unfortunately in this case) they don’t. It’s currently not possible to send actual calendar invites via marketing email.
You’re best option is working with Add to Calendar tools, I prefer this one: Add to Calendar Link Generator | Google Calendar, Outlook, iCal (The links generated by this tool can be modified to include personalization tokens by the way. Pretty neat.)

How is this a solution? You are not solving anything, you are offering a workaround which leads to less conversion and less events added to calendar!
Why doesn’t Hubspot just fix this by allowing attachments?
I’m becoming more and more disappointed with this product the longer I use it.

I couldn’t find documentation in Zapier, but the way we use it is:
1. Trigger = new contact in list in Hubspot
2. Action = add attendees to event in calendar

Trying to do the exact same thing forever and never found this action in zapier! Is your calendar with outlook office?
In zapier for the action I only get Create event, contact, draft email, email and contact.
Am I missing something here?

Hi, we use Google Calendar.
In Zapier, my set up is:
Trigger: “New Contact in List in HubSpot” and the only property it pulls
from HubSpot is the email
Action: “Add Attendee/s to Event in Google Calendar”
Tip here: Zapier only pulls up Google Calendar events created within the
last 24 hours so I would recommend waiting to make the calendar event until
you’re ready to create the Zap.

I read that there was a 200 invitee maximum for Google calendar. Did you run into this? Does Zap just stop sending or do you have to turn it off?
I’m trying to accomplish this for webinar registrants. It’s a bummer - can you share your workflow for it? From HS --> Zapier?
