# Workflow to Opt Out Users from All Subscriptions

Team,

After discussion and some bit of a manual process of creating a list \> downloading a list \> re uploading a list \> to optout groups of contacts at a time from all email subscriptions… or set each contact record one by one

Can we just automate this for all email subscription types?

I was in discussion with HS reps and they said this was the only current way. It would be much more simple to run a workflow for this. Additional information, we are automating them out of Marketing Contacts, but that happens in the following month to take full hold. We are also currently setting individual “Opt Outs” for each Subscription Type. Not ideal and looks like a clunky process for each user when looking at the history.

Hi all! has there been any update on this? Setting individual “Opt-Outs” for each Subscription Type is really not a tenable solution for some of our larger customers.
