I am trying to work out the best way to set up a workflow:
When a deal reaches it’s close date (but is not a closed deal), to send an email to the deal owner.
I don’t fully understand the wording on the times, so would appreciate their meaning.
I currently have this, but not sure if the less than 1 day ago is correct.

This should work. As soon as the Close date moves into the past (meaning it’s not in the future anymore and it’s passed the very brief ‘now’), it will be caught by ‘less than 1 day ago’.
If you however also want to send emails for deals that are older than a Close date within 1 day (e.g. a deal with a Close date 2 days ago), you could also set this filter:
This would be anything before ‘now’.
