In our company we have to funnels, one for Sales and one for Customer Success. Once a deal enters the free trial stage in sales, a workflow triggers to create a deal in the Customer Success funnel to set up the environment.
The sales team quickly moves the deal forward to the next stage (within seconds).
We’ve noticed that the workflow isn’t always triggered. Is this a timing issue and how can we fix this?

Do you mean the deal in the sales funnel moves forward from Free Trial very quickly? Is that automatic or manual?
Does the workflow history (the details button) show you that the deals in questions are not enrolling in the workflow at all? Make sure they have Deal Type is New Business of course. Or that the create deal action is failing?

Our sales team manually moves the deals from 3.Opportunity to 4a.Free Trial and then to 4b.Contract sent.
Because they make this changes often after the sales-conversation, they move the deals very quickly from one stage to another. (often the deals go from stage 3 to 4b within one minute).
For example the deal below:
The deal type is set to new business, it moved (manually) from stage 3 to 4a and then to 4b.
However there is no workflow activity registered
Any ideas how to fix/bypass this?
