Workflow to convert a form submission into a deal

Dear community,

When a lead submits a form, I’d like to convert it directly into a lead for better follow-up. However I don’t find that possibility in the workflows.

Hi @Aksl,

It’s not possible to convert a contact record into a deal record but you can create a deal record when a form is submitted (in addition to the newly created contact record).

To do so, pick the workflow action “Create new record” from the right sidebar in a contact based workflow. Once added, you can specify which contact property values should be copied into deal properties.

Keep in mind that HubSpot recommends to track contacts using the Lifecycle stage and Lead status properties. Hi @Aksl,

It is possible via contact-based workflow. Follow the below steps;

1. Create a contact-based workflow from scratch

2. Set a form as the trigger

3. Now in actions scroll down to “Record management” then select “Create Record” then select “Deal” from the dropdown

4. Put all the required details as per your needs
