Workflow - sending first email immediately, then next actions during X days of week / times

The “What times do you want the actions to execute?” option for workflows option is applied to the entire workflow.

Ideally I’d like the first action to execute immediately, then the remainder of the workflow actions to trigger only on work days (or have the option to override execution times for individual actions).

An example would be execution upon a registation or other event whereby an immediate ‘autoresponder’ is expected (regardless of time) and there is a follow-up series of emails which are better suited to ‘workdays’.

Currently, is the only way to do this by having 2 workflows?
ie. one to execute the instant “autoresponder” and another for the remainder of the email sequence?
Thank you

Hi @Kirbs,

In workflow delays, you’ll find the option to delay until a day of the week - that would be the compromise between two workflows or general working hours of the workflow.

If you don’t want to use these delays, you would indeed have to create two workflows.

Best regards!

Thank you - it sounds like what I am trying to do could be acomplished by setting the workflow to run “always” and then using two consecutive delays;

* 1st delay: time delay, eg 2 days

* 2nd delay: ‘days of week’
Looks like that should do it! Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

@Kirbs exactly :slightly_smiling_face:
