# Workflow 'reports' based on Lists

We’d really benefit from some functionality that would cover off being able to send an email a day to colleagues when the number of contacts in a list has changed - currently you can only trigger a workflow when an individual contact gets added to a list, but if this could be changed that would really help us!

Hi @RoystonJ,

I have a suggestion that, while not exactly what you’re looking for, probably comes very close.

1. Open your list
2. Click into the _Performance_ tab, right below the list name
3. Find the _List size_ report at the top and click the _Actions_ dropdown in the top right corner
4. Click _Save report_

5. Once saved as a report, you can set up a daily recurring email for the report: [Share or export reports and dashboards](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/dashboard/email-or-export-reports-and-dashboards#manage-recurring-report-emails)

Now, your designated recipients get a daily email that shows them how the list has developed in terms of its size.
