# Workflow not working as intended

I set up a workflow with the goal of changing a deal property called **(Slack) Close date in the past** to _TRUE_ whenever a deal’s close date has already passed but, for some reason, no deals are being enrolled into it.

I’ve attached screenshots of the workflow and a deal as an example (close date 2nd-May and today is 4th-May). Can anyone tell what the issue is?

Hi @PPereira,

Have you checked whether the record would enroll in the workflow, using the _Test_ button in the upper right of the workflow editor?

Hey Karsten 👋🏻

Thanks a lot for your reply. I hadn’t tried that before because I thought it would just give me redundant information (as in, I know that the deals are not being enrolled). However, it also showed me WHY they were not being enrolled (for some reason, I had set up the unenrollment criteria to be exactly the same as the enrollment one). I corrected it now ✅
