Hello,

We have a workflow that is triggered when forms are being submitted (4 different forms with OR between them). The next step is a webhook that pushes the data to our system.

We noticed that the webhook is receiving data that includes ALL past forms that were submitted for the given contact. Meaning, we get the current form that was submitted AND the past submitted forms data.

Is this a bug? Is there a way to get ONLY the specific form data that was submitted via the webhook?

Hi @shlahman

We would probably need to see more details about the workflow. Is the webhook part of the workflow or independent?

@zaklein , do you have some tips here 😀

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for your response.

Here is how the WF looks like:

1. Step 1 - Form Submission 1 OR Form Submission 2…

2. Step 2 - Webhook - Post the data.

What happen is: The WF is triggered, then the webhook step is pushing the data of ALL PAST submitted forms (not specific to the form that I just submitted).

What can we do in order to just push the specific form data that was submitted?

Hi @shlahman

Because the workflow enrollment object type is “Contact”, the webhook will send all available data held on the **Contact record** which has triggered the workflow. It’s up to you to process this data on your external system based on your needs (e.g. grab the form submissions array and look for the submission with the most recent timestamp, then do X with that information). Alternatively, you could potentially look at using a [custom code action](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/workflows/custom-code-actions) in your workflow (assuming you have access to these) to isolate the Contact’s most recent form submission and pass that data to your external system (all logic would be handled within the custom code action).

I hope that sets you on the right path 🙂

All the best,

Zach
