It’s great that HubSpot supports integration with Stripe, but there are a lot of other processes that need to kick off after a customer e-signs a quote.

Currently there is no way to know from a workflow level when a quote has been signed off on by the customer and it would extraordinarily useful to know becuase quote completion acceptance usually triggers a flurry of other activities such as sending an invoice, payment processing, account creation, success introductions, sending a gift thanking them for becoming a customer etc…

As a Sales Enterprise customer using Esign, I would like a way to programatically trigger other activities based on a quote being accepted.

Hi Katie,

Sort of. We gave up on HubSpot’s quoting because it forces us to use HubSpot domains and gave us so little control over the templating.

As well, the E-sign (when we used it) was just a redirect & embed to HelloSign which presented a poor brand image.

What we need to be able to use HubSpot quotes again is:

1. Use our custom domain - I don’t need to advertise HubSpot during my sales cycle.
2. No HubSpot branding (this I think was corrected, but I haven’t tested so ¯\_(ツ)\_/¯ )
3. Let us configure the quote process as a company. Giving reps the power to decide whether to get an e-sign or not and whether to ask for payment or not is outside the scope of what an Account Exec is supposed to do.
Ops sets the rules, sales does the work, lets us segregate those decisions, please. The same thing goes for the “Terms” of the quote, we need to templatize that, we can’t have our reps making up their own legal jargon to attach to quotes.
4. Optionally I’d love to see a bit more customization on the template. It’s nice that you grab some colors and logos but we care too much about our brand to let HubSpot dictate our layout on quotes.
