I have uploaded a XLSX file but some columns were not captured by hubspot why is it so? columns like company name, phone number mobile number were not caputred in hubspot. What should I do that to get all the data in those columns?
@AThorat5 were there any errors when you processed the import? It should have had you verify the mapping of the columns to corresponding properties and validated a sample of the data.
You can always do another import with those values, while keeping email or record ID and removing the rest of the data to get the rest of the information imported.
Hi @AThorat5 -
To resolve the issue, please refer to the error listings provided by HubSpot. You can find the error details after you import it.
Additionally, during the import process, ensure that the columns such as name, phone number, and mobile number are accurately mapped to the corresponding HubSpot properties.
Thanks.
No I am talking about the other contats that were imported, the contatcs with error were not taken in the list I am talking about the other data which is seen but it is incomplete data. I had all columns made exactly as they were in the excel sheet in hubspot, the names in excel sheet were different, could that be the reason that they were not exported exactly ?
Hello @AThorat5,
Did you check for any errors that occurred when you imported the list into HubSpot?
Make sure you mapped each column to the correct HubSpot property.
You can review the error details in the import section. [Reference image here, if applicable]
Solution:
- Double-check the error messages to identify any missing or incorrect data.
- Create a new list containing only the records that failed to import.
- Ensure the email address is used as the primary key to avoid duplicates.
- Re-import the new list.
Please let me know if you’re still having trouble. If this response addresses your question, feel free to mark it as solved.
Thank you!
Hey @AThorat5
can you corroborate in the XLSX file that the values that weren’t imported
dont have any blank spaces before or after, for example, spacePARISspace.
When there is a blank space the software tends to thinks its an empty cell.
Take a look at this and let us know
Yes there were spaces, in 1 column there was space and it was not uploaded but in other there was no space and still the data was not uplaoded.
