why aren't my contacts adding to landing page metrics once they have been added as a contact

Hi there,

I’ve had contacts added via my landing page through page submissions, but the number of contacts arent showing on the page metrics why is this or how can I fix this?

Many thanks

Hi @CCurtis0

Are you talking about this section in the landing page performance tab?

Generally there are two options:

  1. Those contacts are not new, in my example above they are. I had 4 form submissions and 4 new contacts.
  2. Ycou can check the form submissions tab of the actual form and see where those form submissions/conversions happened. Maybe the form was shared as standalone form or the form is embedded on more than one landing page.

I hope that helps.

Frank

hi thank you I have had 2 submissions where they put their details in to book a free meeting and they are on my contacts list but it doesn’t show as new contacts I will attach the image

Well that would indicate that the page and form submission you are looking at is not what created those contacts in the first place.

Here is how you can find out:

  1. Click on “2” form submissions to see who these contacts
  2. Select one and filter the contact’s activity feed only by form submissions. You will now see when and how the contact was created and when the form submission happened.

My best guess is that this form submission did not create the contact.

Frank

Hi frank,

Thank you, it was the form submission that wasn’t adding the contact once filled out appreciate your help!

Hey @CCurtis0

Can you share the screenshot of the page where you are not able to see your page metrics usually we can see by clicking on the page over here :
