Why am I not getting an email detaling what changes are being made to hubspot before it happens

I keep getting a pop up that my hubspot is automatically changing on August 31st and there is an option to “preview” it so clicked on that to see what might be happening so I am prepared for it, but when I try that it asks for “permissions” which I don’t want to approve, and I don’t understand why I have to give that if it is going to be an automatic change. When these automatic changes are happening, why don’t we receive an email with updates on what is actually changing and how to navigate the updates and changes so we know where to look for our normal view and how to naviagte what the changes will be? It is very difficult to be stuck with new changes when you don’t recieve an email update rundown beforehand explaining this is what you have and this is what the new format will be so we can be prepared and know where to find things without just an automatic update with NO EXPLANATION. Why are the updated done this way? Why are er not getting clear info in an email with a tutorial or specific changes that are being made so we can be prepared?

Hi there @Coverage,

Thanks for posting! That is odd behavior.

Could you grab a screenshot of the notification itself, even if the pop-up won’t preview? Also, have there been any recent account changes — like an upgrade or downgrade? That could be the culprit.

This is what it keeps doing all day long at the top:

Hi there @Coverage

The Preview option is connected to the public beta/early-access experience, which may show a permissions prompt based on your user access. You don’t need to approve that prompt for the automatic August 31 change. If you’re not comfortable proceeding, you can close it and ask your account Super Admin to review what’s being requested.

HubSpot communicated this through the in-app Product Updates experience and an in-product banner. An email was also sent in June to eligible Super Admins for portals still using the classic theme, so not every user would necessarily have received it. You can review the new theme Product Update and the community overview for more details.

I hope this helps!

Am I going to be able to view deals still like this? I set deals to do every day and this is how I organize myself for the day and know when things are due. Is this still going to be organized in the same manner? (Will I be able to see the deals I have been scheduling for the year for each day?) I have deals already scheduled for a year (or more) out.

Hi @Coverage

Yes, you will still be able to view deals in the board view. In the attached screenshot, there are two different tabs (similar to the old UI): one contains the list view and the other is the board view, like in your screenshot.

Thank you very much for helping me.
