Why am I getting a 404 error integrating Ooma Office in HubSpot?

Hi,
I am experiencing an issue while integrating HubSpot with Ooma Office. The integration is not completing successfully, and I am receiving a 404 error during the process. When I click the Back button on the error page, I am redirected to the Ooma Admin Portal login page. After logging in, the integration still does not appear as connected in HubSpot.

Hi @Columbus and welcome, we are so glad you are here!

Thanks for reaching out to the HubSpot Community!

As a first step, please make sure the person connecting Ooma is a super admin or has the required permissions to authorize the app.

Here are a couple of points that might help:

  • Your app will only show up as a Connected App after the refresh and initial access tokens are generated.

  • A 404 error during the OAuth connection process often indicates that the redirect URI in Ooma’s integration could be misconfigured, or that the authorization code exchange didn’t complete before the tokens were issued. Here is Ooma’s support page if needed.

I’d love to put you in touch with our Top Experts: Hi @Anton, @MichaelMa and @nickdeckerdevs1 do you have suggestions to help @Columbus, please?

Thanks so much and have a wonderful day!

Hey @Columbus,

never used or heard about this integration before, but according to the reviews on the official HubSpot Marketplace, other users experiencing issues with this addon/integration as well.

Honestly, this integration looks a bit sketchy to me.

I mean, why is it a one-way sync for contacts, deals and tickets → Ooma and only notes and call activity → HubSpot.

If it’s an option, I’d recommend to check if you/your business really relies on Ooma.

HubSpot got a native calling feature and if this shouldn’t be enough, I’d look at some proven marketleaders like Aircall, RingEx, Fireflies …
If you’ll look for a new external provider, I’d recommend to look for HubSpot certified apps

Hope this helps

Best,
Anton

Hi @Columbus, That 404-then-redirect-to-Ooma-login pattern points to a broken OAuth callback on Ooma’s side, not HubSpot. Try incognito with only one HubSpot account logged in and don’t hit Back mid flow. If it still fails, ask Ooma to confirm their redirect URI is set up correctly that’s on their config.
