HubSpot should provide a way to create a new segment directly within the folder currently being viewed.
Right now, if I open a folder such as Sample Folder and click Create segment, the new segment is created outside that folder and must be manually moved afterward. This is unintuitive and adds unnecessary steps, especially for accounts using folders as part of a standardized segment-management structure.
Ideally, either:
- When viewing a folder, Create segment should automatically place the new segment in the currently open folder, or
- the segment creation screen should include a Folder field so the destination can be selected before saving.
This would make segment organization much more efficient and reduce the chance of segments being left unfiled.
