When merging contacts it must be possible to select workflows for the merged contact

We trigger many workflows from our Saas video learning platform uQualio. This means that most workflows do not have a trigger based on criteria in HubSpot. Additionally we use a workflow to trigger other workflows to run in parallel during th contact’s trial period.

When we merge contacts, then the active workflows are NOT retriggered on the merged contact as there is no trigger for internal start of the workflow. This means that merged contacts are unenrolled in these workflow and our inbound marketing automation fails.

We want to have the option to enroll merged contacts when they are merged. This way you can select the workflows which must continue in their current state on the merged contact.

Requested process:

- contacts are displayed for merge

- the merged contact is selected

- when there are workflows in progress for either contact I am presented with the lists of active workflows

- I can select which active workflows must continue with the merged contact

- It must be possible to enroll all, enroll none and remove duplicate workflows before saving the workflows to continue on the merged contact

this is very much needed for making the dedupe/merge contact feature usable. We have a number of contacts we elect not to merge (which is not best practice) simply because the contact is currently in a nurture series or other workflow that we want them to continue. It causes a mess to manage.
The process presented in the idea would solve for this.
