When bulk importing contacts via CSV file, how do I assign owners to contacts?

Hi, @FYI. You can accomplish this by including a Contact Owner column on your .csv, and supplying the corresponding owner’s name or email address. Those owners must be HubSpot users in order for the assignment to stick, so those name/email values have to match what’s on the user.

Since Hubspot’s last update this feature is really buggy. Adding the owner column and owner’s email used to work, now it randomly assigns to users.

I’ve open a support ticket but no real response yet.
