# Whatsapp timeline

Feature request:

show the latest WhatsApp message on the deal timeline When a WhatsApp conversation is linked to a deal, the deal timeline currently shows/pins the first message in the thread instead of the most recent one. This makes the timeline unreliable for understanding the latest customer interaction.

Expected behavior:

The deal timeline should always surface the latest message from the linked WhatsApp conversation at the top, and update the visible timestamp accordingly.

Why this matters:

Sales users need to see the latest development immediately from the deal record, without having to open the inbox separately. This is especially important because you want the newest message at the top to stay updated on recent developments 5 .

Current issue:

Even when the WhatsApp conversation is linked to the deal, the timeline can still show an older message as the latest visible WhatsApp activity.
