My SMART goal is to double the organic traffic to our website. The steps we are taking is creating content to further expand our main 4 topic clusters. SEO, Inbound Marketing, PPC and Social Media. We currently rank well on many of the subtopics under each topic cluster. To double the traffic by the end of the year we believe we need to go from 1 Blog per week to 2 Blogs per week.
Great SMART goal - specific yet concise!
The products I market are very industry-specific and in most cases, we have to generate demand. I can see this happening through a consistent and helpful blog series on the subject, as well as through social media posts, especially on LinkedIn, where most of our prospects/future customers are.
My SMART goal is 8 blog posts by the end of the year, with cca 1500 visits to the website/blog (via social media or paid ads) and 40-50 customers by the end of the year.
I approach long-term goal setting with setting several short- term goals that are timely and achievable. This way the long term goal has a higher rate of success. My goal for the next 3 months is to attain 5+ freelance writing opportunities in order to market myself more effectively and expand my portfolio. In order to achieve my goal, I am going to align my writing samples more accordingy with the freelance jobs I am seeking.
A SMART goal I am working towards this year, is helping my cousin get her website up and running, for her business. The steps towards achieving this goal, are:
- Expanding my knowledge in web development.
- Expanding my knowledge in web design.
- Expanding my knowledge in marketing.
- Then using my knowledge, from HubSpot Academy, to help her grow her business.
Building a blog about women who are working and become a resource centre for them. Short term goals: reseaarching about the topic and writing more.
Marketing goal to achieve by the end of 2021: Create more website traffic. By doing so, I plan to create more content to apply to Linkedin posts, email blasts, instagram content, which would furthermore drive curiosity to what we do/sell. Hopefully in doing so, it will encourage people to go to our website.

SMART goal I’m working on this year is to get under 130 pounds by end of October starting August 1. 12 weeks, 6-12 pounds to lose, and attainable because it’s a sustainable rate. tools are measuring table and weight scale. methods are weekly gym hiit and barre classes, with a slight eating deficit and more mindful sleep and eating habits.
Being in a pre-launch phase, the goal is enough top of the funnel interest in the next year to have a pre-launch sales pipeline that will allow us to sell half of our production upon launch.
My long term goal is to be a distinct visual Identity designer, in achieving that, not a day goes by that I don’t practice.
I’m planning to expand my content portfolio beyond my comfort zone. I’m seasoned in creating blogs, but lack the confidence to creating videos. So my plan is to make at least 20% of my content to be in the video format by the end of the year.
To grow our company’s social media reach and awareness so that it becomes a recognizable name in our community. We hope to do this by providing meaningful and relatable content for our target markets.
Specific - To increase likes on a Facebook page that shares news and lifestyle information
Measurable - To get new 1000 organic likes on the Facebook page
Achievable - Regularly post updates on the page, run ad campaigns, play with different types of posts (photos, videos, text, emojis, gif, links, polls, ask questions), run a campaign for inviting friends to the page for existing page likers
Realistic - Getting new 1000 organic likes is possible instead of setting high unrealistic targets that will yield little success in reality
Timely - Getting new 1000 organic likes within 1 month
I think it depends on the type of business. For example, in our business, which is a dental clinic, our long-term goal is to increase the number of clients to 500 per month. To do this, we have focused on promoting the content of blogs and social networks. We also use advertising like native ads and Google Ads.
