Hi everyone,
I’m curious to hear about the small changes that made a surprisingly big difference in your daily workflow.
For my team, creating standardized deal stages and using simple automation for task reminders significantly reduced manual follow-ups and made our sales process easier to manage.
It wasn’t a huge implementation, but it helped improve consistency across the team.
What is one CRM workflow, automation, or reporting tip that has had the biggest impact for your organization?
I’d love to learn from your experiences.

For me, the small change that usually pays off fastest is making the next action impossible to miss. Standardized stages help, but I’d pair them with one plain “Next step date” property and a saved view for deals where that date is empty or overdue. That changes the daily behavior: reps do not have to remember who to chase, and managers can review the exceptions instead of scanning every deal.
I’d keep the automation light at first. Trigger the reminder from that field and the current stage, then clean the overdue view once a day. If the view stays small, the process is working; if it grows, the stage definitions probably need tightening.

Love this topic @vietnamsmart, thanks for starting this conversation on the HubSpot Community! Small tweaks really do add up!
One popular tip I see here is using automated lead rotation to speed up response times and ensure no one slips through the cracks.
Here is another resource that might be useful: Automated lead routing is essential for multi-product companies — here's the how and why
I’m looking forward to seeing more ideas from the Community!
Thanks and have a lovely day!

Hi @vietnamsmart , One that’s had outsized impact for us: a saved view filtered to deals with no activity in 10+ days, reviewed weekly with a simple task reminder attached.
Sounds too basic to matter, but stale deals quietly distort pipeline and forecast accuracy more than almost anything else, and this catches them before they’ve been sitting untouched for a month.
Curious if others have a similar “hygiene” automation they lean on.
