Everything, thats why am here learning from the courses and joined the group. Actually I am new in this field.

I think biggest content marketing challenges are:

Insufficient Resources

Expanding Competition

Keeping Quality Consistently High

With my client that does database consulting, the biggest content marketing challenge is consistency in our blogging. There was a time, in 2015, when we were doing very well with one post a week, generally. Now, with a smaller team of consultants, it’s been harder to maintain that rhythm. We’re lucky to publish 2x a month. As a team we have discussed applying the pillar page and topic cluster strategy, and I got all the necessary buy-in. In fact, we do have some well-performing posts now that we can transform into pillar pages, once we have subtopics defined and posts published.

But…I can’t do it. I am not at all technical; I do not have aptitude in SQL Server. Therefore, I cannot write technical blog posts, the “how to” type of content we try to share. See for yourself at Blog | SQL Server Expertise | SQL Solutions Group. Client work comes first, of course, so while “everyone” (three database consultants) acknowledges the need to blog, it often ends up on the back burner.

But, when I have ideas for non-technical stuff, we can do those. In fact, we did a fun Star Wars-related post on May 4th. But there’s only so many useful, non-technical posts we can do.

My biggest content marketing challenge are varies in creating consistently high-quality content is a multifaceted challenge that involves maintaining regularity, ensuring high standards, allocating sufficient resources, developing a coherent strategy, engaging the audience, measuring performance, and optimizing for search engines. Overcoming these challenges requires a well-planned approach, continuous effort, and a commitment to understanding and meeting audience needs.

An example of contextual marketing is a coffee shop app sending a push notification with a discount offer to users nearby during morning hours. The message is personalized based on location (close to the coffee shop) and timing (morning, when customers are likely looking for coffee). This tailored approach increases the likelihood that customers will find the offer relevant and act on it.
