What other certifications is everyone taking?

Hi there, my name is Dimitriy Vityukov, but you can call me Dima!

I am currently a Future Leaders Intern focusing on Marketing Research and Business Development in Clark County, Washington for the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC).

I am also a senior at Washington State University Vancouver majoring in Marketing, Finance, and Entrepreneurship while also getting my Professional Sales Certificate. I am graduating this December!

As I gain experience in my internship and finish my final semester at WSU Vancouver, I am trying to hone my skills in marketing by learning as many skills before I graduate as I can.

Here is my list of certifications I want to complete through HubSpot (completed are checked):

  1. Inbound :check_mark:
  2. Inbound Marketing :check_mark:
  3. Digital Marketing :check_mark:
  4. Content Marketing
  5. SEO
  6. Social Media Marketing
  7. Email Marketing
  8. Digital Advertising
  9. Inbound Marketing Optimization
  10. Contextual Marketing
  11. HubSpot Reporting
  12. HubSpot Marketing Software

What do you think? What certifications does everyone else plan to take and why?

I am always looking to network and meet new people, so be sure to connect with me on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/rudima/

Hi @ru_dima,

Welcome to the Content Marketing Study Group!

Thanks for introducing yourself and sharing which certifications are on your list! :slightly_smiling_face:

I wanted to invite our fellow study group members to this conversation.

Hi @Saraksr, @GAH_Photography, @enjy677, @AMulligan4 - Which academy certifications would you like to take and why? :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks!

Best,

Kristen

That’s a great list @ru_dima! As a HubSpot trainer/advisor, I try to keep up on all the HubSpot certifications. The only ones I can’t seem to master are the ones specifically created for developers. I’m definitely NOT a dev! :joy:

I’m fortunate that my company supports the educational side of my job, so I get to carve out about an hour everyday to keep up on my certifications (and re-certifications!). So my advice is to stay consistent. If you can devote 30 minutes a day, or maybe an hour, to courses, you’ll find yourself getting through them pretty regularly.

My favorite courses are the ones outside of my normal duties - in particular Sales.

Happy learning!

Helpful as always, @danmoyle! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
