When I enter my campaign analytics (the campaign only includes tracking Url) there is a “traffic” section below that shows me number of “views”. I would like to know what is the meaning / definition of that metric? Views of the link (like impression) / views of the website / something else?

Sessions are the number of sessions associated with the campaign (measure more analytics activity) and page views occur when a website is loaded or reloaded. This is why we can see more views than sessions on a campaign. You can read more about campaign metrics here: Analyze your campaign performance
