Hello,
Is there a way to explain this features in simple way. I read all the documentations but it does not make sense! Why do we have all different lead proceses in Hubspot?
How people use them in their own organization?
Thanks.

Hi @06401,
The contact property “Lead status” is effectively replaced by the new leads object in the prospecting workspace. It’s either one or the other that should be used.
This post explains well how it was supposed to be used in the past: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Ask-Me-Anything-and-Panel/AMA-Demystifying-HubSpot-s-lifecyle-stages-deal-stages-and-lead/m-p/514256
Now, you can safely ignore the “Lead status” contact property.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
Hello,
I agree with Sebnem Yumulcay, it is really confusing because there is not much documentation available that explicitly says that “Lead status” is replaced by new leads object. It might be a good idea to update the available tutorials in HubSpot Academy and elsewere explaining this.
