What is the correct HubSpot Sales add-in to use for the new Outlook for Windows?

Hello,

I have been running into issues installing the HubSpot desktop application for Outlook, primarily due to our company’s high-security settings. Has anyone found a reliable way to install and use the HubSpot integration within a secure environment?

Hi @HChapman

Thank you for reaching out!

For any deep troubleshooting I’d recommend continuing partnering with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, where you are able to share screenshots and further information about this.
I however want to tag some experts here in case they came across a similar situation before - @Josh @Mike_Eastwood @himanshurauthan do you have any thoughts for @HChapman on this?

Thank you!

Best

Sorry @TitiCuisset, we haven’t faced any such issue yet. Also, use the web application for handling our day-to-day tasks on HubSpot.

Regards,

Hey @HChapman :waving_hand: and others who find this post. A lot has changed since 2022 with Outlook compatibility. Here’s the updated inforation:

The best and most future-proof solution is to use the HubSpot Sales web add-in. This modern add-in is fully supported, more secure, and is the officially recommended integration for all versions of Outlook.

If you switch from the old Outlook to the new Outlook for Windows, the web add-in will be installed automatically to replace the outdated desktop version. Activating the web add-in should resolve the security and installation issues you have been experiencing.
