For one of my custoemr thier Latest Traffic Source Data 2 value is 262269760. Does anyone know what that relates too?
Hi @LKelman,
What are the values for latest traffic source and drill down 1? Can you share a screenshot of this value on a contact record?
Best regards
@LKelman this is explained here
Understand Original and Latest traffic source properties
It the number doesn’t resolve into an email name, it might’ve been deleted or it might be the ID of an email.
That all makes sense but the last marketing email was sent in 2023. The salesperson apparently used apollo as the lastest source, and I can see that email from apollo in hubspot, but hubspot is not relating the latest source as to apollo.
@LKelman the timestamp on your screenshot is for 2023, wouldn’t that match?
The below iamge was the latest message sent to the company. The contact existed back in 2023, but the salesperson reached out them on Apollo today, the integration then created the company today. You can see that in the second image. So the current latest sourceis 2023, but the create date of the company is 2025

@LKelman I may be missing something but I don’t see the discrepancy. If the contact existed in 2023, the timestamp for latest source is in 2023 and the company record (which is pulling this information from the associated contact) reflects this, even if it was created today, that’s still correct?
Apollo is not a traffic source – maybe the misunderstanding comes from that. Latest traffic source is not the same as record source. If an integration creates a record, that does not count as traffic.
Shouldn’t the latest source reflect the email that was sent via apollo today which triggered the company being created into HubSpot which was today.
The latest source should be a date stamp of 30/04/25 attributed to Apollo. This is what happens to other companies created into hubspot via Apollo
@LKelman that would be a question for Apollo support or HubSpot support – this is a user-to-user community, without being able to review your integration settings, other records etc it’s hard to solve this from a distance. Hope this helped, still.
It did, thank you for time as always, much appreciated
Thanks for your help, @karstenkoehler!
@LKelman -- is it possible that the record had previously been deleted and then recreated? Sometimes tracking data is still stored in your account from deleted records, so it shows up when they are recreated.
As Karsten mentioned, the Traffic source is likely a different value from Record Source value. I’d check that field for the source of the record creation.
Best,
Kennedy
