what is last modified date tied to?

I am adding parent/child relationships and do not want to go back over the same companies. Looking for an appropriate filter. Have tried last activity, last modified and they are populating with today’s date.

I am opposed to setting up an additional custom field to track this - too many of those already.

Looking for others best practices.

Hey Gelflex, I kinda had the similar doubt.

I have tried some moves and it seems that is just the date that any modification in a property/field of a deal, or the name ,amount, stage changes, different details such as this.
