We’re building something special for the UNBOUND Spotlight opener — the very first moment of the keynote — and we want your voice in it.
We’re collecting short video responses from across the HubSpot community: customers, partners, and Champions, all answering one prompt in their own words. Real people, real settings, no scripts. If your clip makes the cut, you’ll be on the main stage.
Deadline: Monday, August 10 at 11:59 pm ET
What to say: Open the UGC brief, pick 1–2 questions, and answer in your own words. Start your answer by restating the question on camera — for example, say “To me, UNBOUND means…” before you answer.
How to film it:
Horizontal (landscape), ideally 4K — your phone works great
15–30 seconds, chest-up framing, natural light
Look into the lens, not the screen
No scripts, no brand language — talk like you’re telling a friend
How to submit: Upload your raw file (no editing needed) via Dropbox. Include your full name, role/HubSpot relationship, location, and email in the upload form.
Hello everyone, I love being part of this community! My name is Sharon Cooke, and I’d like to share what Inbound means to me. It’s a non-traditional marketing strategy that is revolutionizing the way companies attract, convert, retain, and even build loyalty with their customers naturally, by capturing their attention when they are looking for solutions to their problems at the right time, with valuable, useful, relevant, and easy-to-understand content, without annoying ads, calls, and emails. Inbound marketing is organized into 4 key phases:
Attraction: creating useful and relevant content such as:
blogs
videos
social media
SEO optimization.
Conversion: once you have the customer’s attention, it’s time to convert them into a lead (a potential customer who shows interest in what a company sells and leaves their contact information in exchange for useful information, thus starting a close relationship with the customer).
offer value
ebooks
guides
Closing: Tools such as marketing automation and lead scoring nurture your leads until they are ready to buy; this is where a lead transforms into a customer.
Delight: You continue providing value until you turn your customers into brand ambassadors; a happy customer will recommend you, and THAT is worth more than any paid advertisement.
