While travelling (especially internationally) is difficult right now, today we’re going to take you on a virtual trip to HubSpot’s 11 offices and share some fun facts. In case you haven’t explored these locations yourself, here’s a quick rundown of each:
Berlin, Germany
Did you know: Berlin is the only city in the world with three active opera houses (Berlin Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper)

Dublin, Ireland
Did you know: The name Dublin derives from an old Irish Celtic name (dubh Linn), which refers to a pool where Viking traders would leave their ships. You can find said pool in Dublin Castle.

Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA
Did you know: The voice actor for Cinderella (1950), Ilene Woods, was born in Portsmouth.

Sydney, Australia
Did you know: The Sydney Harbour Bridge (also known as the “The Coat Hanger”) is the widest long-span bridge in the world. Sydney also holds the record for the longest line of pizzas (221 meters), a feat performed in its Italian quarter (Leichardt).

Bogota, Colombia
Did you know: Rather than street names, Bogota’s streets are assigned numbers alongside a label of either Carreras (north/south) and Calle (east/west).

Ghent, Belgium
Did you know: Ghent promotes a meat-free “veggie day” (Donderdag Veggiedag), where vegetarian meals are made for government officials and schools. There are also more vegetarian restaurants per capita in Ghent than anywhere else in the world.

San Francisco, California, USA
Did you know: San Francisco played host to The Beatles’ final concert (August 29, 1966).

Tokyo, Japan
Did you know: Tokyo has the largest number of highly-rated restaurants in the world with 14 three-star Michelin restaurants.

Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
Did you know: Though Cambridge was the original capital of Massachusetts, that title eventually became Boston’s. As consolation for this slight, the city - then known as Newtowne - was awarded Harvard University. The name Cambridge was then adopted to emulate its English namesake city, the home of the University of Cambridge.

Paris, France
Did you know: There is only one stop sign in the entire city. In the rest of the city, the right has priority.
