Hi,
When Facebook leads go on to visit my website, their page views are not tracked by Husbpot.
I am certain these visitors visit several pages on the website after talking to them on the phone, but Hubspot is not tracking any of this activity.
I have tried the plugin and embedding JS in the code of the website and none works.
I have also tried the following tropubleshooting options but all of them seem to be in order;
1. Ensure that the HubSpot tracking code is installed correctly: Double-check that the HubSpot tracking code is correctly embedded on all the pages of your website. You can find the tracking code in your HubSpot account under Settings > Tracking Code.
2. Check for potential conflicts with other plugins or custom Javascript: Some plugins or custom JavaScript code on your website may interfere with HubSpot tracking. Temporarily disable any conflicting plugins or custom code to see if it resolves the issue. Test each plugin or code snippet individually to identify the specific cause.
3. Verify if the tracking code is firing correctly: Use your web browser’s developer tools, specifically the Network tab, to check if the HubSpot tracking code is loading without any errors on your pages. Look for any HTTP errors or blocked requests related to the tracking code.
4. Review any specific page rules or exclusions in your HubSpot settings: Check if there are any specific page rules or exclusions within your HubSpot settings that could be preventing page views from being tracked for certain leads.
5. Delayed or missing page loading: If the Facebook leads are visiting your website immediately after clicking on a link, it’s possible that their page views are not being tracked if the page loads too quickly. In such cases, try implementing the asynchronous tracking code provided by HubSpot. This code loads the tracking script separately from the page content, increasing the chances of capturing all page views.
6. Ad blockers or privacy settings: If your Facebook leads are using ad blockers or have strict privacy settings, it may prevent HubSpot from tracking their page views. Ask the leads to check if they have any browser extensions or settings that could be blocking the tracking.
7.Facebook click tracking issue: Ensure that the URL being clicked in your Facebook ads or posts has the correct UTM parameters appended. This will help HubSpot identify the source of the traffic accurately.
Please assist. Thanks
