Our HubSpot SEO report says that the following element makes our page significantly lower on multiple pages(up to 21 LCP):
\<div id=“hs-eu-policy-wording”\>

I don’t have a clue on how to fix this. I can imagine that it has something to do with the cookie policy banner, but we are using the standard HubSpot one.

hi @mxx have you run PageSpeed Insights or Google Lighthouse with the cookie banner turned on and off to compare the results?

I’ve seen the SEO report in HubSpot trigger a false flag for the cookie banner and it is likely not as big of an issue as it seems - I’m curious to see if the results hold true for your site.

There are much simpler solutions out there that are lightweight and meant not to impact web performance. They’re called [consent management platforms](https://www.ketch.com/blog/posts/consent-management) (CMPs). You can start with [free CMP](https://www.ketch.com/ketch-free-cookie-banner) solutions first such as this one from Ketch for instance. Hope this helps!
