# Website Homepage Not Working

Hi,

My website domain homepage will not work (says page is unavailable), but when I add a content slug like /home the page works fine. How can I get my home page to work?

Hey @JTetzeli,

do you mean it isn’t working when you’re trying to open it in the browser?

If so, check your page settings. For the homepage/start, simply remove the content-slug in the Page URL field.

Secondary pages like about, contact… should still have a slug

I don’t know if this could be because I purchased the domain on porkbun and then transferred it to Hubspot, but I see this when I go to my homepage

Even though I have a page with an empty content slug that should be my working homepage.
