Webinars : participation rate & "watched replay" rate

Hello,

I have 4 webinars to compare.

I have created event properties from livestorm data following this tip: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Marketing-Integrations/Best-practices-for-tracking-webinar-participation-over-time/m-p/577264

Now i would like to make 2 reports with:

- participation rate (=Nb contacts attended/Nb contacts registered)

- “watched replay” rate (=Nb contacts who whatched the replay/Nb contacts registered)

I have 4 webinars, so maybe il will have to create 4 reports of each kind.

Rates are better to compare webinars with each others than only number of contacts.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Hi @FannyL,

This depends a bit on how exactly you set this up. How are you documenting registration, attendance and replays? Which webinar integration are you using?

Best regards

Hello Karsten,

We are using livestorm integration.

I have created:

- 1 list of contacts who submit subscription forms for each of 4 webinars

- Properties:

Webinar 1 - Type of participation: [ ] regsitered [ ] attended

Webinar 2 - Type of participation: [ ] regsitered [ ] attended

Webinar 3 - Type of participation: [ ] regsitered [ ] attended

Webinar 4 - Type of participation: [ ] regsitered [ ] attended

Webinars registered: [ ] Webinar 1 [ ] Webinar 2 [ ] Webinar 3 [ ] Webinar 4

Webinars attended: [ ] Webinar 1 [ ] Webinar 2 [ ] Webinar 3 [ ] Webinar 4

Webinar recordings watched: [ ] Webinar 1 [ ] Webinar 2 [ ] Webinar 3 [ ] Webinar 4

and also Number properties

Number of webinars registered

Number of webinars attended

But i don’t know how to get a participation rate from thoses. Neither a “whatched replay” rate.

The report i was able to create is that one: not clear at all, as in fact, 55 contacts registered to webinar 1, of which 24 attended it. So a participation rate of 44%.

Any advice would be welcome!

Thanks in advance

@FannyL would a contact have both [] registered and [] attended checked if they attended, or only [] attended?

Webinar 1 - Type of participation: [ ] regsitered [ ] attended

is a radio select property, so only contacts who attended have only “attended” value, and contact registered but not attended have “registered”

@FannyL in that case, you would simply have to display “Count of contacts” by “Webinar 1 - Type of participation” and choose a pie or donut chart visualization. When you hover you mouse over the chart, specifically the participation segment, you should see the percentage :slightly_smiling_face:

You would have to clone the report / recreate it for other webinars.

It looks great with a donut thank you!

What about the “whatched replay” rate?

@FannyL you would need an additional single checkbox property “Webinar 1 - Watched reply” for a similar visualization, unfortunately. This can be populated via workflow automatically. With the properties you have currently, it cannot be visualized directly, as far as I can tell.
You can easily display the number of contacts who watched the replay, but not the percentage with what you currently have.
