Hey there!
I’ve got webhooks working great for contact creation, updates, merging, deletion, etc, but I don’t see a way to get a webhook when a note is created, todos, when an email or a call is logged, etc.
Is there an endpoint that I’m missing that will notify me when the contact is “acted upon”?
Thanks!

-Brian

Hello @BSierakowski
My name is Olivia and I an ex-HubSpotter turned HubSpot expert for Baskey the agency. Happy to help here!
Are you using webhooks in workflows? If so you can trigger a webhook using ‘Activity’ filters in a contact-based workflow. Activity filters are where you can define things likw note creation, logged calls, sent emails etc …

 ![Screenshot 2023-12-04 at 15.44.36.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/a/9/a9e0944ed5add9a704cc2c88f02c22f1a60c1398.png)

You can find the endpoints that look at contact activities here [2026-03 API reference - HubSpot docs](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/overview) in the ‘Engagements’ section.
I know this answer is a little braod but if you can provide more details on exactly what you are trying to achieve and how (+ what steps you have already taken), I would be able to help further.

Hi Olivia!

Thanks for the response, and great question—I’m using webhooks directly from the API via a Hubspot App, using the docs found here: [Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/webhooks).
I wonder if putting all contacts into a persistent workflow would be a hacky work-around if there’s no engagement webhooks, can the webhooks fired by workflows be sent a specific url?

@BSierakowski Got it!
You could definitely use workflows to trigger webhoks upon activity creation as you need but you need either Operations hub Pro or Enterprise to do so. Do you have that subscription?
If not, I can take a look to see if I can find a way without 🙂

Ah, good call! Since I’m building the app to be used in the hubspot store it’d be better if we didnt need those subscriptions just to make sure more people can use the app :).
I’ll keep playing around with it, otherwise I might need to do a daily check on engagements to make sure my app is totally up to date!!
If you think of anything creative please let me know, I feel like I’ve gotten compeletly through the API docs 3 or 4 times now and feel like I’m missing something!!

Hi Olivia, is there a webhook that provides updates on activity changes for all contacts in our organization?
