Dear Hubspot Community,

in our current project, we use a hubspot form to collect leads. We want to send the submitted formdata to our services. We have read up on the hubspot api documentation and community posts to accumulated our possible options:

1. Use the GET form submission from Forms API

-our backup solution(best what we could find till now)

-but needs frequent polling by us

2. Create a Workflow with a Webhook

-we can’t use that, because we don’t want to buy the merketing-addon

3. Use webhook API for contact property change

-works with “hs\_calculated\_form\_submissions” property, but then we don’t know from which form the submission comes?

-or maybe we create a own property, with a hidden form field to identify the form?

-but this also requires to create an app and go through oauth, to create the webhook

It would be nice to get the formdata(as the payload) with a webhook, instead of polling with “variant 1”. But “variant 1” seems to be the easiest way to get our requirement done.

Did we forget a possible way to handle our problem? We would be very glad to hear about other suggestions

Best Greetings, Tom

Welcome, @tommy-mwx.

Apologies for the delayed response.

A fourth option is to create [workflow extensions](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/workflow-extensions/workflow-extensions-overview). This enables you to better define the payload, but it still requires a _Marketing Hub Professional_ subscription (just not _Enterprise_ as with [workflow webhook actions](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/how-do-i-use-webhooks-with-hubspot-workflows)).

With this in mind, I agree that “variant 1,” using [this endpoint](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/forms/get-submissions-for-a-form), is the simplest way to achieve your goal.
